Shortly after receiving the last class email, David Hughes sent this note: “As I wandered through the totally enjoyable pictures of the Teeny-Weeny Wolverines, I found it amazing that I was looking at my own grandchildren and great grandchildren. Reason being is that Vicki Guenther Farrell’s little ones are also my little ones. It is a ‘small-small-world’ and I love it. In 2006, I went through the drive-thru at the McDonald’s in Dexter for a Diet Coke and ended up on a 7-year 'drive-about'. Phoenix and Seattle were my resting places, returning to Ann Arbor during the summer of 2013. Still in Ann Arbor, still doing well. Life as always is good and I continue to believe in the following: The first thing I do each morning is to check to see if I’m breathing. If yes, everything else that day is pure gravy!” That’s our idea of a great life philosophy. Dave ended his note with a pledge and we're holding him to it: “I promise to be at the 55th reunion!”.
