A number of class members have told us that one of the things they most enjoyed at the 2015 reunion was getting together with classmates they've known since elementary school. Three close friends who met decades ago have been doing that as often as they can, even through the years when two of them lived far from Ann Arbor. Marcia Stegath Dorr spent most of her career overseas, working in the Gambia, London, and Oman before returning to Ann Arbor in 2015 to be with her dad late in his life. Ruth Ryan was a long-time resident of New Orleans, staying even after her house was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. She and her husband, Ted, decided they were ready to move home to Michigan in 2016. Meanwhile, over the years Lauri Ingber Soloman held the fort in Southeastern Michigan. Marcia will still be traveling often but is making Ann Arbor her home base, and the condo complex where she's living is the same one where Kelcey Beardsley stays when she's in A2. Ruth joked, "I told her to start a colony and wait for me." You can see a photo of Ruth, Lauri and Marcia in Class Postings.
