Jim has had a successful career as Iggy Pop, recording more than 20 albums on leading record labels and appearing in 16 films and five TV shows. He has worked closely with David Bowie and Johnny Depp, among others. Jim was percussionist for both the AAHS Concert Band and Orchestra, and drummer for The Iguanas, two of whom were class members Sam Swisher and Jim McLaughlin. He later formed the proto punk band, The Stooges, which was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. His music encompasses rock, new wave, jazz, and blues.
