Pete and Barb Kendall Souza took a week-long trip to the Grand Canyon by train and here’s what Barb had to say about it: "We started in E. Lansing on October 5 to Williams, AZ on October 6. Saw the Grand Canyon, a Condor (one of the rarest birds) resting on a cliff, Sedona (took a Jeep tour of the Red Rocks), Cottonwood (ate at Abby's Kitchen - gourmet food, met the owner Abby), Jerome (famous mining town) and Flagstaff (the day of the ASU shooting!) Got back to E. Lansing on October 13. Long train ride but beautiful scenery. First time on a sleeper train! Food was wonderful. Accommodations were a little small but loved not having to drive! We highly recommend the Amtrak Vacation tours!"
