Kathy sent her Pioneer sweatshirt but didn't make it to the reunion herself. Afterwards she sent us this note: "I was really looking forward to our 50th reunion. The class website and the quarterly updates gave me confidence that I might remember some of the people I had not seen since graduation. Then on Christmas Day my daughter and only child (Hillary) announced that she was pregnant with our first grandchild, due on July 9! The only day of the year I had a solid conflict. Family easily won. I have a new and adorable granddaughter, McKinley Grace who was delivered by the same doctor that had delivered Hillary 28 years earlier. All is well and I made the right choice. Now I will have to attend the 55th!"
