Poet, Translator. Jane published seven collections of poems, winning the PEN/Voelker Award for Poetry in 1994. She was also named Poet Laureate of New Hampshire. Jane was married for 23 years to U.S. Poet Laureate Donald Hall, whom she met when she was his student at the U of M. She died in 1995.
