Pamela Conn Hyde started out the new year by taking off on a 17-day road trip. She traveled with her brother Fred and his wife Sherrie in their 34 ft. RV. Sam the dog came along for the ride. The trip started right after New Year's in Fort Lauderdale and covered 2500 miles before she got home. Along the way, she visited some of our classmates, including Susan Magid Bergin and her husband Ed in Boerne, TX, Pamela Purdy Stephens in Houston, and Sylvia Shippey in Phoenix. Among her other stops were Sedona, Ft. Stockton, and Tombstone in Arizona, and Las Cruces, NM. Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon were on the itinerary but had to be ruled out when Flagstaff got 40 inches of snow. Maybe next year!
