Pamela builds her dream house where she won't need hip boots in hurricane season

During Hurricane Harvey, Pamela Purdy Stephens was holding her breath, along with every other Houston resident, that her home would be spared when the flooding started. It was, but when she decided last spring to build a new home in Round Rock in the Texas hill country, she said, "No chance of getting flooded here!" Since then, things have moved really fast. She sold her house in June, the foundation was laid in August, and step by step, the house came quickly together from the ground up, with lots of beautiful interior details. She'll be moving in on December 13, and can't wait to say, "Here's my new home sweet home!"
