1/31/22. A longtime resident of Saline, Richard was with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department for 30 years, where he worked in the property division and in animal control. Linda Colby remembers when Richard worked for her dad in high school and said, "I always enjoyed his company." An avid golfer, he had more time to play after his retirement in 2001. One of five siblings, Richard was close to his family; a request for memorial contributions was to a trust for the care of his sister, Deborah Sue.
