2/1/24. Linda attended Detroit Bible College and her faith was an important part of her life. She was a longtime member of the Grand Ledge Baptist Church and had multiple roles there. She had a strong interest in young people and had a 25-year career at the Michigan Department of Childcare Licensing, helping to make sure that high quality childcare is available to all families.

Linda remained good friends with childhood school friends, including many from our class, such as Cheryl Mericle Roberts, Cindy Donahey and Pamela Conn Hyde. Pam says they walked to school through the small woods that connected Eberwhite Elementary to their neighborhood. Karen Kuker Salamin and Bonnie Holzhauer Bean lived in the next subdivision and were part of a group Pam organized for a girlfriends' reunion on the weekend of the 50-year class reunion in 2015.

After retiring, Linda and her husband, Bruce, enjoyed traveling in their 5th wheel camper and wintering in Florida. Bruce died just three weeks before Linda after 50 years of marriage. She was one of our classmates whose family chose to mention that dementia was a factor at the end of her life.
