News about Humanities teacher Milo White

Mr. White and his wife, Sandy, had said how much they were looking forward to coming to the reunion so it was a shock and disappointment to get the news of his death. He taught the history section of the Humanities course and in a note sent back with his reunion RSVP he wrote, “Teaching at AAHS/Pioneer High School was the highlight of my 39 years in education. It was a real joy, most especially as a member of the Humanities team.” For many of us who took Humanities, Mr. White was one of the most memorable teachers from our high school years. And Deb Ward VandenBroek wrote, “More recently, he continued to delight in young people through the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor, where I had the pleasure of getting to know him and enjoyed his dry sense of humor.” Click here for his obituary.
