Connie Sekaros sent this news. She and other members of our class studied under Mr. Tabler in the Humanities program at AAHS and he taught for many years at Pioneer after we left. Connie later returned as a student teacher under his direction while earning a teaching certificate at the University of Michigan. His obituary noted that he was “passionate about literature, writing and teaching” and Connie agreed, calling him “a caring teacher and mentor”.
