News about History teacher Randy Peacock

All you have to do is to read the comments in the guest book on the MLive site to understand how influential and much loved Mr. Peacock was as a teacher. As class member Martha Pott wrote, "Mr. Peacock was an inspiration in every class he taught. He posed questions that made us think deeply about important issues, and influenced my thinking throughout my life." Mike Keebler said, "Mr. Peacock was my favorite teacher at AAHS in the 1960's. He inspired me to become a History teacher and later a lawyer. His enthusiasm was contagious and he always presented intellectual challenges for students." Bob Hallock spoke for many of us when he ended his tribute by saying, "Heartfelt and lasting thanks to a very special man."
