2/14/24. Classmate Nancy White Paul, a longtime friend of Dianne’s, shared this news. They played violin in the orchestra and were neighbors as well as friends. Another class member with a connection to Dianne was her second cousin, Duane Brown; they were born one week apart.
Lauri Ingber Solomon’s reaction to the news captured what made Dianne special: “She was so sparkly!” Susan Magid Bergin recalls “her sweetness and her smile.” Dianne was in Scott and Sandy Jones Johnson’s wedding and Sandy wrote, “good friends forever”.
In their preschool years, Jim Datsko and Dianne lived a half block apart in east Ann Arbor and he remembers the time his mom set up a tea party on a table on their front lawn to entertain little Dianne.
Dianne was an elementary school teacher for many years. When she wasn’t working, one of her great loves was animals, especially cats and horses. The organizations mentioned in her obituary for memorial contributions were the Humane Society of Huron Valley and the Starry Skies Equine Rescue and Sanctuary.
