For a son, not much gets better than this

In the class Facebook group, Gene Tanabe posted a wonderful picture of two smiling faces with a clear family resemblance and the caption, “Blessed to celebrate a once in a lifetime event. My dad turned 100 today.” In addition to many good wishes, some classmates expressed regret that their own parents hadn't been able to live as long. As Marilyn K. Wilkie said, “There have been so many things I wanted to ask my folks since they left.” Take another look at that photo: no question that they’re both Tanabes!
