Dennis Dieckman is remembered

When we posted the news in the class Facebook group about Dennis's passing, it inspired some reminiscences from class members. One was from Robert Berning: "I remember when I, Mike Andrews, Randy Hepworth and Dennis used to get together for a 'Meeting of the Grievance Committee' which basically involved smoking you know what and playing cards into the wee hours of the morning. Goodbye Denny. You will be missed." Both Julia Steiner and Karenann Stitt recalled meeting Denny in their youth group at church. Karenann had her first date at 15 and it was with Denny. Kathleen Armbruster Zaffina didn't know Dennis in school but she did some online research and discovered that he was a highly respected cuemaker, a founding member of both the American and International Cuemakers Associations, with some of his cues at the Smithsonian Institution. You can read more about him in his obituary here.
