Colleen McLean Calver and her husband, Lew, enjoyed a one-month stay in Ann Arbor in July 2015 so much that they repeated it this summer, taking advantage of every nice thing about our fair city, including the Farmer's Market; a newly opened jazz club, The Last Word, on Ashley, where they met Duane Brown and his husband, Pasha, and Camille Procassini and Judy Poulos Bates for drinks; and a tour of downtown Detroit by Nancy Evaldson Mirshah and her husband, Hassan, with lunch in the still-vibrant and bustling Greek Town. Then they headed north where, among many other fun things, they spent three days with Dan Kett and his wife Suzy, on Mullet Lake (Colleen wrote, "I've known Danny since 3rd grade and Suzy was my pledge sister at the UofM!"). They celebrated their 50th anniversary on August 10th with high tea at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
