Betty Vokovich Hass is still cooking up a storm

A year ago, Betty was one of the finalists in the Great Garlic Cook-off in Gilroy, California, a prestigious annual competition for amateur chefs from across the U.S. And this year she has done it again! On July 29, she’ll be in Gilroy, with seven other finalists preparing their original recipes – each containing at least 6 cloves of garlic -- in front of 2017 Gilroy Garlic Festival guests and judges. Betty’s recipe, “Hazelnut-Crusted Garlic Cheesecake with Orange-Hazelnut Syrup” was featured in the press release about the event. We’ll let you know if she wins!
