Alumni Update: Mary Harper (Dake)

Hurricane Katrina is still around if you go to certain areas of New Orleans. While living in a mobile home for 4 years, we rebuilt on the same property that Katrina completely blew/washed away and still live on a tidal bayou in Louisiana, 15’ above sea level - I wonder why. But life goes on. I retired in Dec. 2005, 4 months after Katrina. My husband just retired and has had 3 major "projects" to keep from being bored. We have one son who will be employed forever because of his knowledge of mud and levees.
