Duane Brown and Nancy McArtor spent decades in the San Francisco Bay Area and had many fun shared times, but both have left to live in other parts of the country. For June and July, they're sharing a house on Cordley Lake about 25 minutes north of Ann Arbor. By the end of the year, each expects to have decided where their next home will be. But it won't be in the same house, same city, or even the same state, so these summer days together with family and friends nearby are precious ones.
