​Many of us turned 75 this year and we decided to celebrate with a 75th Birthday Party reunion. These were the weekend events:
Friday, September 30: Meet and Greet Mixer
Revel & Roll (formerly Colonial Lanes) in Ann Arbor
About 100 guests turned out at our traditional Friday night venue and, as always, it was a lively crowd. A classmate who was there said, “It was a terrific chance to be able to connect with so many old friends in one place.”
Saturday, October 1: 75th Birthday Party
Cocktail hour, buffet dinner, catching up with friends and singing the birthday song
Lake Forest Golf Club in Ann Arbor
On a picture-perfect early fall evening, 54 guests met in a venue that was new to us, but which turned out to be a wonderful setting that we hope to use again. The gathering was small and congenial, and it was easy to circulate,
talking to old friends and meeting new ones, including spouses. One guest said, “This was my first time back and my wife and I enjoyed it very much. We would do it again!”
University of Michigan Stadium Tour
One of the most popular events of the 2015 reunion was a tour of the “Big House” stadium. We offered two tours this year and 22 guests took advantage of them. We’ve had some requests for a repeat at future reunions!
